Megan is a fully certified STOTT PILATES Instructor. Megan works with a wide range of clients with various needs and abilities from beginners to advanced. She enjoys helping clients develop body awareness, whether it be a daily task made easier or reaching an athletic goal.

Megan commenced her training in Pilates over 15 years ago, and it became a vital part of her daily routine whilst a student at Central School of Ballet in London.  Understanding how the body moves has played a key role in Megan’s training from a young age.  She was an advanced level rhythmic gymnast and went on to become a professionally trained ballet dancer.

At 8 years old Megan achieved a place on the Great Britain Rhythmic Gymnastics Team, requiring her to attend regular training camps at Lilleshall National Sports Centre of Excellence in England. She was part of the Team at the 2001 European Championships in Geneva, competing at an advanced level throughout her rhythmic gymnastics career. In 2005, she auditioned successfully and gained a place at Central School of Ballet in London to become a professionally trained ballet dancer.

After undergoing surgery for a dance related injury Megan discovered the real benefits and potential of Pilates during her rehabilitation process. Pilates not only allowed her to recover fully from injury but also increased her all over strength and performance as a dancer.

On returning to Northern Ireland, Megan graduated with a BSc(Hons) Sport Studies at the University of Ulster and commenced her Pilates Instructor training in 2014 with internationally recognised STOTT PILATES.

She believes there is always more to learn and continues to regularly attend training courses to develop her skills and knowledge as an instructor.
